Sardines (Sketch Off! Finalists 2025) unleash their debut show, “In Butter” - an hour of sketch comedy that’s sharp, stupid, and 80% of your daily caloric intake. Join this trio of taller-than-average comedians as they exorcise their innermost fantasies through a menagerie of the absurd. 

Drawing inspiration from popular culture (Bob Dylan, Jane Austen, and the age-old question of whether someone could be loved if they were in fact a worm), Sardines bring to life off-the-wall, original characters like Chad, Sandra, and Patrick. 

Writers and performers Cecilia Orr, Livvie Newman, and Sarah Alli blend sharp writing with “good chemistry” (Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke) in this fast-paced debut that showcases the best of what happens when three brilliant idiots share one brain cell. Fizzing with anarchic warmth, energy, and silliness, this all-female trio offer an antidote to the broadly male-dominated sphere of sketch.
